Racism: Ownership Has It’s Privileges
So, the recording of an owner of a basketball team allegedly
making racist comments makes you feel some type of way? I guess that just
pisses you off, doesn't it? How dare he? It just goes to show that racism is
still alive and kicking in 2014, doesn't it? Oh, and the "culture" he
speaks of is further indicative of the problem, huh? Maybe it's not him that's
the problem. It's the "culture", right? Or is it that he's a part of
the "culture"? Now I’m wondering if he started the
"culture" he speaks of, or is he just the front man. Either way, he's
the owner of an NBA team, so his attitude towards "minorities" should
count for something, right?
Really?
Well,
isn't he also the owner of whatever feelings he has towards any ethnic group?
Isn't he the one who has to deal with the inner turmoil of hating certain
groups in a world that they couldn't help being in in the first place? Do we
not see the idiocy of such a notion? Do we not see the inner frustrations such
turmoil causes? Do we not see the irrational ideas of his makeup? He speaks of
them directly, alluding to a "culture" undefined by direct aim. Just
try to go and take hold of this elusive "culture" and see what you
get. Is there an address to which we can serve notice of eviction to that
"culture"?
It
exists only in the minds of its acknowledge-rs. It isn't real. It couldn't possibly be real because hate is a burnout. It’s an unsustainable platform.
Hate burns from the inside, killing its host. The culture would destroy itself,
just as the speaker destroys himself in that recording.
Take heed of how the hate affects him to the degree that it
alters his plans, makes him feel a certain type of way. That's the impotency of hatred taking hold. It's on a mission to render its host as nothing more than an agent of senility. The degree of hate which can cause a man to dwell in that frame of mind for that amount of time has committed the ultimate murder: slaying its host and using its body to get away with the perfect crime. That's the power of hate. And that's the privilege of
ownership of hatred. At what point do we begin to understand the implications of the word
"ownership"? It means we must carry our luggage with us. What makes this form of ownership so evil is that it's an impossible standard. Man can not maintain impossible standards without paying a lofty toll for even the attempt. There's an intended consequence to ownership: we also
own what's produced, we own the process and the outcome: Evil processes only returns evil.
I wonder, at what
point are Blacks, no scratch that....at what point are "minorities"
going to establish ownership of themselves? The ownership which brings them security in their abstractions. The ownership which refuses to pay homage constantly to irrational models from the past or carry the baggage of invalid constructs from way back when. When they do, they'll revel in
ownership's true design. The one wherein irrational outside influences have no
penetration, and doesn't cause an in-house emotional stir. The only
"minority" that person in that recording speaks of are the ones still
awaiting validation from invalidate-able places. The only "minority"
that speaker reflects upon are the ones who remain mired outside the larger
worldly culture via their own design. What I would tell a black man is the same as I would tell anyone, in reference to any matter: No one can validate you but yourself. Its an ownership attribute. What someone says about "you" in private to someone who's played both sides of the fence should not be granted permission to be the hot button issue passed off to you now that its set to detonate.
But what's most interesting about the speaker of those
comments is that he's supposedly financially well off. Well, wouldn't that
relate to being financially free, and unencumbered by the weight of irrational
"cultures"? Instead, this speaker is a prisoner of the very “culture”
he speaks of. He’s miserable within his own design of loyalty to a “culture”
with an evil face. He’s forever shackled to a ghost intent upon pulling him
into a chaotic, sadistic underworld. He simultaneously suffers the consequences
of his delusions, while refusing to acknowledge the real source of his
frustrations.
We need to really
consider the implications of our burning anger resulting from this speaker’s
comments. If "minorities" are still awaiting validation from a
certain "culture" of people here in 2014, if “minorities” still feel
the need to correct actions made by others, actions for which “minorities”
otherwise shouldn't have to account for, then perhaps they deserve all the
outer turmoil they receive from racists.
Indeed, forget the playoffs. For, anyone evaluating
themselves versus the reflective irrational image of hatred from others, have
already established their own game plan- for one in the L column.
